Diamond Outfitters is the largest and most successful full-time guide service in North America. This family-owned business is operated by United States Air Force Veteran Captain and Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office Command pilot, Dan Adler and his wife Terri. Dan and Terri started Diamond Outfitters in 2006 and quickly became the largest full-time outfitter for bull elk, mountain lion, black bear, oryx, and Coues deer in North America. We are also well known in the industry for our world-class mule deer and antelope hunts, plus Desert and Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep and amazing exotics like ibex and aoudad!

Our beliefs about politics and our love for freedom and country are unwavering. We believe America is the greatest country on earth and that, in large part, is due to the Judeo-Christian faith and beliefs She is founded upon. We hold the Constitution near and dear to our hearts, we have a flag in every one of our camps, and there ain’t nobody kneeling in front of it. We know first-hand, that America is the land of the free because of the brave and we aspire to honor those men and women during every hunt through our words and our deeds. 2004
OUR STORY…
The Diamond Outfitters story is one of faith, family, trust, and an unyielding drive to succeed. After leaving the Air Force, Dan went on a very disappointing guided hunt. Sitting in camp Dan thought, “I can do better, the business can be better, the industry can be better, the reputation of guides should be better and most importantly, the clients deserve better!” Immediately upon his return, Dan started to build the framework for Diamond Outfitters so other hard-working hunters didn’t have to experience disappointment as he did on a guided hunt.
After navigating the growing pains of a new business and adjusting to leaving the comfort of a government job in the military, things started to drastically improve and 2009 provided some amazing traction for our growing team! Several record book bull elk, plus dozens of giant Coues and mule deer hit the dirt in the early years and, just like that, the word was out about Diamond Outfitters. Today, we have over 1,700 happy clients who will easily provide a reference to you about our operation!

Dan and the team he had assembled were in high demand as hunters from around the world were now seeking them out specifically for their hunting and guiding expertise. In 2011 our client volume tripled thanks to the referrals of our clients, and we’ve been steadily increasing ever since.

2017 brought another year of amazing growth for the Diamond Outfitters Team. In 2019 Matt and Jamie Woodward merged their entire outfit, Borderland Adventures, into Diamond Outfitters. Matt is an incredible hunter, an amazing outfitter, and extremely well-versed in the flora, fauna, and history of the areas in which we hunt. As a well-established and respected guide in Arizona, New Mexico, and Sonora, MX, Matt brought a very loyal client base to the Diamond family that we are all happy to call friends. Matt also retained key guides, Andrew Dykes and Johnnie Morris who fit right in as leaders to our growing team. Borderland Adventures outfits all our New Mexico hunts.

2023 AND BEYOND GROWING FORWARD…
2023 has been such an amazing year of growth! With the addition of Utah (Outfitter Registration 10753984-7500), Nevada (Master Guide 1511509) and Wyoming (Outfitter Registration BG-019), the future is unbelievably bright for our Team and most importantly, our clients. As of 2023, we now hunt 17 big-game species in five states and two countries on over 30 million acres of public and private land. Our clients have more options than ever before!
Our “sister” company Zero Outfitter Fees has revolutionized the Western big game hunting scene. This innovative product is designed to save serious hunters thousands of dollars…and candidly, it’s a “no-brainer” for most of our new clients! Here’s the best part…All ZOF members receive FREE guided hunts with us–no strings attached!
We maintain an unprecedented 90% rebooking rate, with many of those clients leaving a deposit for next year’s hunt before they leave this year’s camp! Of those remaining 10%, 5% of them voted for the current administration and were not invited back, and, transparently, the other 5% we could have done better with. We’re currently working to regain their trust and their business – no other outfitter is doing that! There is almost no such thing as a one-time client here. We build deep relationships with our clients and they become part of the Diamond Outfitters family!
